In a city with a great past, the official opening of Hampton by Hilton Turkistan, the first Hilton hotel in South Kazakhstan, took place. The hotel of one of the largest hotel corporations in the world was built by the construction holding BI Group. Last year, the company signed a master agreement with Hilton Worldwide to build 10 Hampton by Hilton hotels in Central Asia.
The opening of an international hotel was held with the participation of the First Deputy Akim of the region Arman Zhetpisbay, Akim of the city of Turkestan Rashid Ayupov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BI Group Aydin Rakhimbaev and General Manager of Hampton by Hilton Turkistan Anar Baibolova.
The construction of a new hotel contributes to solving one of the main problems of tourism development in the region - improving the service sector. Therefore, the importance of the implementation of this project is invaluable, noted in his welcoming speech the Deputy Akim of the region Arman Zhetpisbay.
- I would like to express my gratitude to BI Group for its contribution to the development of tourism in our city. This project opens up an opportunity for the guests of Turkestan to use the international level service at an affordable price. The hotel harmoniously fits into the style of the city, successfully combining the traditions of the past and the present.
The hotel is located in the cultural and spiritual center of Turkestan, in close proximity to the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yassavi, a monument of history and culture, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Also within walking distance is the center of Ula-Dala and the Visit Center Turkistan. Convenient access to the city's international airport is also a big plus of the hotel's location. It is only 15 km from the hotel to the air harbor.
The façade of Hampton by Hilton Turkistan resembles an old Moroccan-style adobe building, reminiscent of buildings in the 14th century, according to international standards for the construction of Hilton hotels, said Aydin Rakhimbayev, head of BI Group holding:
“Hampton by Hilton hotels are distinguished by first-class service, comfortable rooms and an impeccable reputation in the travel market. Brand awareness will attract foreign visitors. Hampton by Hilton Turkistan is an important first step in the implementation of joint projects in the regions with the Hilton Worldwide corporation. I am convinced that the hotel chain will provide international level service for a wide range of clients.
The construction of the hotel began in November 2019. Hampton by Hilton Turkistan is approximately 9,000 m², including the Top Tobe freestanding banquet complex. Banquet complex Turkestan Grand Hall is a hall for 360 people, two VIP rooms, a summer terrace and commercial premises.
The hotel has 120 rooms of the standard category, including the possibility of single and double occupancy, costing from 19,000 tenge. The hotel provides rooms for people with disabilities, equipped with specialized furniture and sanitary ware. Facilities include a signature complimentary hot breakfast, a fully equipped gym, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and a meeting room.
Each guest of Hampton by Hilton Turkistan, according to the Real Traveler concept, can now travel without the need for high costs for comfortable accommodation. The hotel will become part of a memorable journey through the historic city, said Anar Baybolova, general manager of the Turkestan hotel.
- Staying at Hampton by Hilton Turkistan, everyone can immerse themselves in a special atmosphere of friendly service called Hamptonality. This term reflects the desire of each Hampton hotel to meet the expectations of its visitors, for example, to offer travelers useful information about interesting places in Turkestan, about significant historical facts, about upcoming events.
According to Anar Baibolova, Hampton by Hilton hotels offer comfortable, elegant rooms, a warm atmosphere, a friendly service culture and a staff that ensures guests are satisfied.
The project was implemented with the support of “Eurasian Bank” JSC and “Damu” Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC under the “Economy of Simple Things'' program.
Hilton is a world famous hotel chain that includes 17 hotel brands of various categories. The chain has about 6,000 hotels around the world.
Hampton by Hilton Turkistan is the second joint venture between BI Group and Hilton Worldwide. In 2017, the holding built Hilton Astana in the city of Nur-Sultan. In the coming year, the company plans to build a Hampton hotel in the city of Tashkent.
