Tashkent has launched the construction of a
residential area – a joint project of the Kazakh developer BI Group and the
Uzbek developer Murad Buildings. The ceremony is timed to coincide with the
meeting of the presidents of the neighboring countries Kassym-Jomart Tokayev
and Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the launch of the implementation of joint
facilities.
The head of the BI Group holding, Aydin Rakhimbayev,
told about the project in which $ 500 million will be invested during the
ceremony. It provides for the construction of social, commercial and
residential infrastructure with an area of more than 1.5 million square meters.
The Presidents of the neighboring countries have agreed to start construction.
"City within a city" or "bigville"
will be implemented along the Chirchik River. According to the master plan,
urban parks and squares, roads, social infrastructure (schools, kindergartens,
polyclinics, theaters, shopping malls, administrative buildings), as well as
the improvement of the riverbed will be located on the territory of the
residential area.
Deputy Khokim of Tashkent, Head of the Investment and
Foreign Trade Department Sharof Rakhmanov:
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have established close
partnership relations. The set rhythm, largely thanks to our esteemed
presidents, contributes to the development and creation of new facilities. The
project along the Chirchik River is important and significant for Tashkent. We welcome
him very much. Thanks to him, infrastructure, socially significant facilities
will continue to develop, a comfortable and cozy atmosphere will be created for
citizens. As a representative of the khokimiat, I confirm my readiness to
assist in its promotion in every possible way.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of BI Group Aydin
Rakhimbayev:
According to experts, the real estate market of
Uzbekistan can become one of the main drivers of the development of the
country's economy. Using the rich experience of BI Group in the development of
large-scale projects and work experience in Tashkent, we want to create all
conditions for comfortable living for the newcomers of this residential area,
as well as residents of Tashkent city.
The mahalla, which preserves centuries-old traditions,
a culture of respect and mutual assistance, became the inspiration for the
residential quarter. This unique social phenomenon is of great interest in the
world and is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Tentative List.
Here, the natural framework will inextricably intertwine with the city's narrow
commercial streets, shady streets with plane trees, forming a unique urban
bond.
This location is an actively developing area near the
golf club on the lakes, the «Yangi Uzbekiston» Park and the projected Olympic
village.
20 thousand apartments will be presented in the first
bigville in the capital of Uzbekistan. The developers paid special attention to
energy efficiency, manufacturability and digitalization.
During construction, small water structures with green
spaces, methods of darkening pedestrian paths will be used in order to help
reduce overheating of premises, cooling in the summer heat.
Bigwillies from BI Group have already appeared and
continue to be built with high dynamics in Kazakhstan cities - Astana, Almaty,
Shymkent, Atyrau.
It should be noted that the innovative construction
holding BI Group has been building residential complexes in Tashkent for three
years under the auspices of the joint venture NRG.
