Martial arts palace “Jekpe-Jek” became Capital’s another jewel. Here are going to take place international martial arts competitions - boxing, wrestling, judo, karate, taekwondo and, in addition, weightlifting.

Athletic facility at the intersection of Kabanbai-batyr avenue and Kerey and Zhanibek Khandar street has a triangular form and represents flying war eagle. It is worth noting that conceptually palace was designed like multi-purpose arena: Scene can transform according to requirements of any type of sports and be equipped with proper sports equipment.

Total area of arena is 32 thousand square meters. In the heart of the palace - hall with 5 thousand spectator seats, also lounges for the panel of judges and VIP-guests. For journalists - comfortable cubicles for commentators and modern press-center with 54 seats.

Health section of the sport arena includes a 25-meters long swimming pool with 4 lanes,a kids pool, a gym, and mini-football field. Basically everything an athlete needs.

There is also hotel with 43 rooms, SPA-center, and a spacious parking lot.

Many new solutions were implemented. For example, vandal-proof paint was applied directly on Glatt and finish line was no longer  needed. Decrease in “wet” processes allowed us to increase rate of construction. To ensure that there is not going to be any reverberation in a room, acoustic panels were mounted. More aesthetically pleasing solar batteries were installed.
