This is the first higher education institution in the capital, which will specialize in the training of IT specialists.

The BI Group was faced with a difficult task - in a short time to rebuild one of the pavilions of the EXPO as an educational institution not similar to the others. The team succeeded: The University was built in just 10 months.

The total area of the premises is 37 617 sq. m - 3 floors, excluding technical and Parking. The University building has 680 rooms, including 140 classrooms, a library with a reading room, a dining room with 400 seats, a sports hall stylized as a cyber-arena and equipped with the most modern sports equipment and simulators, and also has an Assembly hall with 450 seats, a coworking area resembling a cozy lounge, thematic offices of companies such as Apple, 1C, Oracle and others. The University has all necessary equipment for the organization of the educational process in accordance with modern requirements, and the elements of the educational building are focused on creating maximum comfort: there are many open space zones, there are individual lockers for personal belongings of students.

The University will train over 3,200 students, 2 600 of which undergraduate and 600 graduate students. Teachers from the USA, Europe and Asia will give lectures on technical specialties in English.

It should be noted that Astana IT University is the only university of this format in our country: the training program is designed not for 4, but for 3 years. Graduates will have to work 3 years in Kazakhstan.
